half dead
I don't know if y'all have had the latest stomach bug going around, but it's a DOOZIE! Expect a good 12-24 hours of well, typical stuff you expect with a stomach bug, then expect 24-36 hours of feeling almost normal, then expect another 6-12 hours of typical symptoms again. After that general malaise.
I'm telling you what...I don't think I've EVER had a virus knock me down like this one did.
My daughter had it first, and I'm afraid a new couch may be on our short list of expenditures. :bado:

I don't know of anyone in my area having that, hopefully that bug will die out in your neck of the woods.
Sipping on strong sweet tea usually helps to calms the tummy.

When I had a stomach bug, the doctor put me on a clear-liquids-only diet for 3 days. At least I lost a few pounds.

Maybe that's what I need to do to shake it off completely.

Are you no longer half dead? Don't want you to be walking dead. Alive, not at all dead, is best.

I finally had my appetite back today. In fact we were heading to my MIL's church at 11, and my stomach started growling. I was trying to remember if I'd had breakfast. (I did, toast, with chovocado dip) Not that I wanted to be hungry during the service, but it was nice to BE hungry and not queasy!
