    I'm going back to 1721

and no, I don't have a time machine, but we have this popular TV show where a group of people live and work as they did in the seventeen twenties. It's being filmed in our city and today I and a girlfriend are going there to have a look, maybe taking some pics, too. By that time our country was in union with Denmark so I expect them to fly the Danish flag.

How interesting! I love history. Our PBS network has done some programs like that. (PBS= public broadcasting)

That's the year after Tordenskiold died. There was a reenactment of his victory at Dynekilen south of where you live, a few years ago.

Thanks, Col, I hadn't seen that one. There was an awful lot of people at Isegran which is the name of the island where the film shooting was done. Nice to have seen the places. Not that I hadn't been there before but now it's like a small village, built for the show. A lot of times when something is filmed locally they ask if any of the locals want to be 'extras'. You should see if they need any more background actors and volunteer!

It was all recorded in the summer of 2015, and there's only a couple of episodes left to be shown

You can forget about unexpected repair costs with an extended service contract for your Saab. Many vehicle repairs can cost thousands of dollars in unexpected expense, now may be the time to consider an extended service plan for your vehicle.
