SERIOUSLY????????????
How old are you?
I was 10 when it was released and can still sing it from memory.
It conjured up all kinds of wonderful images of hippies and flower children and whimsical freedom.

He's older than you!
I always liked that song too, it was nice to hear it again. Now Lista has to post a pic of herself there with some flowers in her hair.

If you want to visit the Redwoods, I would recommend going to the Redwood Natl Forest. It's a good 300 miles north of San Francisco.
If you want to visit the Redwoods, I would fly into Sacramento. It will save you A LOT of hassle getting out of the San Fran area. If you arrive in San Francisco at the wrong times and head to the redwoods, you'll be sitting in traffic for hours. It could end up taking you 8 hours to get there.
On the way back to SF, you can stop by the Napa wine country ( Sonoma Co.) if you want, or some coastal spots, but you would be best to get into the San Fran area about 8:30p-9p.
No, I don't think we'd have time to visit Southern California. My Mom is really more interested in the sequoias rather than the Redwoods. She's legally blind, so the extreme height of a redwood would be a waste for her. Now, the girth of a sequoia....she could see, no problem!

No. He was talking about a Christian music artist from the 80s.
