New in my life
Just thought I'd share a bit about what's going on in my life now. I have been going to a Spanish church for over 6 years. I'm the worship leader there where I sing in English and Spanish. I translate the songs when they are previously in only one language. I am also the youth leader there, ministering between the ages of 15-22.
I also found a woman and got engaged. She then cheated on me, so I'm single again.
Other than that, I'm just trying to enjoy life and lose weight. Just got a stationary bike to help with that. What doesn't help is that there are too many good cooks around me, including me. lol

I actually met her at another church. Then she started going to church with me at the Spanish church. Had an interesting confrontation with her after I found out.

She actually broke up with me saying she wasn't ready to get married. Then her godkids' dad called me and asked to meet with me and told me she said that she had been with the guy she was dating now for 4 months. We had only been broken up for 1 month. I took some time to prepare myself so I wouldn't do anything to get arrested, I went to where she worked and made a small purchase. As she was checking me out, she started making small talk. I said, "You didn't think I'd find out about you cheating on me, did you?" She started fidgeting with papers and looking at every direction except at me. I started to walk out and she said, "At least I didn't continue."
I still see her every now and then. She now works at a gas station that I've been getting breakfast at for years when I wake up late. She avoids eye contact and doesn't speak to me. That's fine. Everything that needed to be said was said. :)

Congratulations on the happy church situation!
Sorry about the fiancée....better to find out now than after getting married, and having children. Albeit, that doesn't take away the hurt.
