    Went to church. 1st service at a new location since the building we used to rent was sold. Went to eat at Cracker Barrel (Sunday chicken!) and now sitting here watching the NFL playoffs.

    You assume incorrectly! I don't even watch Canadian football.

    ---------------------------->

    We went to church. Picked up a used captains bed for my 2yo grandson for $50. Came home and snoozed in the recliner till our nephew came to p/up his truck. Visited with him and his fiance. Got a look at her ring, a beautiful, simple ruby with diamonds. And now, we're figuring out how to get the bed downstairs to store till we can take it to DD's house in the spring.

    For those of you who got such a hoot out of that video of kids falling on ice, you would have laughed and laughed today. As we were leaving for church, my boot heal slipped off the step and I tumbled down the 7-8 steps of our deck into the snow. As far as I can tell, I missed all the yellow snow. I kinda just laid there taking stock till Rog noticed I was down and he came over and helped me up and brushed me off.... yep. It was a real hoot. No broken bones, just a really bad scrape on my left shin that's going to turn many wonderful shades of blue, purple and green and likely a few other bruises will show up in the next few days. My purse was full of snow.... and things needed to be gathered up. In case you're wondering, the steps were shoveled with just the slightest bit of fresh snow left behind - enough for my heel to slip on... (The steps are wood.) Anyhow, just thought you'd enjoy the story.

    I did the chores I could do. Over did it on the vacuuming and am paying for it now. But worked a bit on a quilt (I will share in the proper place) But mostly just had a relaxing day. Going to curl up with a good movie or do another marathon on Grey's Anatomy. I am not on a current season, I just started watching this series over the summer.

    Have a blessed evening every one!

    This is the Lord's day and I give it to the Lord. Go to Church and spend time in the Word and Prayer.
