Canned 10# ground beef and 3 quarts of baked beans. Makes for easy meals some day. A blueberry pie is baking in the oven as I sit and take a break.

I'm making butter tarts. I make, usually, 18-20 doz because my family loves them so they each get a container and there has to be a good stash in our freezer or hubby pouts. I buy the shells and make the filling from scratch. I make equal amounts of raisin and pecan and about 4 doz mincemeat.
I've made my shortbread and a couple other kinds of cookies and still need to make my sugar cookies.
I'm at least a week ahead of my usual baking schedule. Can't explain it. lol
ETA: I probably post the same thing on tart making day every year.

Rest from canning today. I did can up 10# of cooked ground beef, along with 3 quarts of baked beans. I rearranged some of my jarred goods shelves to make room for the new additions and realized that I need to keep space between types of jarred/canned goods so I'm not constantly rearranging.
Today is co-teaching scripture memory at our church's homeschool co-op. This class is a hybrid - we are training young adults from our School of Formation (discipleship school) to teach school age children. We then debrief. All sorts of stuff gets manifested in these classes - not in a bad way. For example, not being able to lead a class with authority. This unearths "stuff" and over the years of doing this, we experience deliverance in our debrief sessions, as well as shore up ways to teach young children (grade 1-6).
After that I have a workout with a personal trainer, and later tonight a sauna! Overall, I'm excited because of the spiritual dynamics of teaching, and physically looking forward to both the workout and the sauna.

Making Sweet Potato Pies for a neighbor - One to take to her Book Club Christmas Party, and another one for her to take to a dinner on Sunday.
She offers to pay me, but I don't take her money - I just talk about JESUS to her and pray that she comes to know him for herself.

Today is a culmination of a semester's worth of work. Our homeschool hybrid puts on our "Winter Festival". On Monday, the Concert Choir which is older students mixed with adults puts on a concert. This year's theme is "The Birth of Christ is an Act of War." Some of our song selections are:
Hark the Herald Angels Sing
Let All Mortal Flesh Keep Silence
The Angel Gabriel
This Little Babe (Benjamin Britten)

We're going out to celebrate my sister in law's 80th birthday. She's still ranching.
She's the one on the left. Her sister, eldest of the family, turned 81 in November.
They'd kill me if they knew I posted this anywhere.
