Lawn work. Raking up the front lawn, seeding, watering. And watering. Should come in quickly with the warm weather.

Thanking God for another day to bring His Kingdom to bear in this crazy hour. I awoke in the night crying out to Jesus for the backslidden Church. That's how the day started and factoring in how my day will be "colored".

Have any of you painted a house? By yourself? Been wanting to do this since buying the place some 7 years ago. Finally, I have the time.

Well collectively I have. My dad, brother, and I used to do VA and FHA repos back in the day. Almost always trashed and had to renovate them. They just sell them as is now. That job made me hate painting. And unfortunately that's the trade I know how to do well because of it. lol.
No spraying. Everything had to be hand brushed or rolled. Oil based on the outside and in the kitchen and bathrooms.

Oil is a big mess. I'll leave that to the pro's. This is a very easy house to paint and may be the only one I'll do.

My sister was giving me a tour of her garden the other day. I noticed a plant that looked strikingly familiar. I asked her, "What is that plant?" She said, "Oh, that is just a weed that grew up there." I said, "Yup, that's weed alright." I think she took a picture before digging it up.

Come on man. Where's the punchline? Like, "And it turned out to be marijuana!!!"

I found a picture that is an exact match. It is called, "Joyful Yellow." The description says that it looks like marijuana. And it does indeed look like the weed that it is. We may never know more about it's medicinal properties.
