Just finished eating Shrimp Scampi and Garlic Bread...
Hubby wanted to give me the day off from cooking, so we did a Curbside Pickup from Olive Garden after Church

Today is the beginning of an adventure. Since purchasing this TOC home some 7 years ago I have wanted to metal detect the yard. This will be interesting. Also, perhaps have found the old privy sight.

I'd love to see pictures of your finds - but not of the privy site!

I'll be posting the interesting finds in the metal detecting thread in hobbies forum.
Today while looking over the back yard I could see the telltale lowspot of the settling. Second sign was probing with a metal rod for soft areas. Bingo. It's a lot of digging but the historical finds are crazy because bottles dishes and other useless 1800-1900 trash was thrown into the hole so to make filling in easier. Coins and jewelry fell out of pockets and hands in the "activity".
After 110+ years, it's not any worse than digging in the yard or garden.

I got stuck in a 2 hour traffic jam. I was surprised it was like this on Sunday. I checked the traffic report and there were no wrecks. I think everyone must have went to the sierras for the weekend
It was 89dg
