    Poisoned

For those of you who don't do FB, you may have missed my post about this:

Some bad news, I just wanted to let everyone know that I have been admitted into the hospital. I had not been feeling my best over the last few days only to find out I have poisoned myself. What I thought was an onion turned out to be a daffodil bulb. They are keeping me in a nursery bed with lots of sunlight, proper hydration, and necessary nutrients. They said I should be out some time in the spring.

A teaspoon of fertilizer mixed with milk will make things right

Thank you, but you realize it's a joke, right?

I did not realize it was a joke. My reading comprehension is not what it used to be.

It took me a moment too.
When I read from somebody in the hospital I start to pray for them.
But when I got it, I thought it was funny

I guess I read it as an accidental poisoning with sense of humor still intact.

When I first read it on FB, the first part shocked me and I thought, whaaattt??? But as I read the aftercare, I thought it was hilarious. It's such a cleverly worded play on words, but I think maybe you have to be familiar with some gardening terminology. One of my sons actually called me to see if I was ok. I laughed so hard. Peoples reactions on FB were funny, too. Here's some inside info on me.... I don't eat onions .... At all.

Ooooookay, now I get it, but daffodil bulbs are poisonous and when I saw FB, I thought Firebrand who I haven't seen in awhile!

Note to self: start reading more carefully.
