I've always been Peace on this board. Irene which is my real name is Greek for Peace. On other forums I have used Makena which is what they call me in Kenya. It means "The one who is always happy." Peace & Joy --- who doesn't want that? :)

    Same here :)

To answer Lista more fully, I've been "Rebel for God" online longer than I've been anyone else (since the late 90's, and on innumerable forums).

For a short stint, I was "God's Grump", then for a bit longer I was "Rasputin".

Recently I finally realized that I need to be who I am supposed to be... whom I've been all along. I'm Rebel.

A name tells a lot about a person.

In my case, that's true. I almost always swim against the stream. But that's because I know that any fish can float downstream, even dead ones. Only a LIVE fish can fight against the current and prevail.

It's not always true in the nicks that anyone chooses though. Being an online FPS gamer (for those who don't know what that is, an explanation won't help), I've seen the strangest craziest nicks, and after getting to know some of the other players better, I came to find that with many of them their nick didn't represent them in the least. Just something they chose because they couldn't think of anything better.

First person shooter ? I was never any good at the online version though I haven't played those much. I was pretty good at the single player versions, at least back in the nineties I was.

I don't even remember the first name I had and had forever. I chose this one when people were changing their names for Christmas some years ago. I kept this one because it is true, I have been everchanging and still am...
