This is MY user name. It is powerful and straight from the Word of the Living God!
NIKOS
Paul states that the resurrection will result in victory (nikos) over death, rather than death having the victory ( 1 Cor 15:54-55 ; cf. Isa 25:8 ; Hosea 13:14 ).
I Cor 15:54 When the perishable has been clothed with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality, then the saying that is written will come true: "Death has been swallowed up (nikos) in victory."
For John, the victory that triumphs over the world is our faith, and the one that overcomes the world is the one who believes that Jesus is the Son of God ( 1 John 5:4-5 ).
1 John 5:4-5 For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the (nikos) victory that overcometh the world, even our faith. 5 Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?

Why the attacks. I am establishing that my user name is a valid name and not some extra-biblical term. It is a powerful word.
Which of course come from the Greek goddess Nike who was a goddess who personified victory, also known as the Winged Goddess of Victory. Post 17
This is just a slam.

DeGarmo & Key Song "Rebel for God".
Changed it for personal reasons.
Recently changed it back because I was sick and tired of hiding. I'm not going to hide who I am anymore.
