    I know we've compared before, but this far north, sunset today is at 4:08pm and sunrise tomorrow is about 8:35AM, giving us about 7.5 hrs of daylight, and we're a week past the solstice. Looking at the chart, we gain about a minute a day.

    Yeah, we start celebrating Dec. 22 in my house. Our morning sun is up probably around 6:30-7, and the sun sets around 5.

    Metro Detroit has an 8:00am sunrise tomorrow with a 5:06pm sunset.

    We'll be getting sunrise around 7AM at the beginning of March with sunset about 6PM. Oh, but it will be glorious !!!

    At least I can go to the beach to cool off, if you jumped in water you would turn into an ice block
