How Many Times Have You Moved?

In your entire lifetime, best you can recall, how many times have you moved to another place of residence? I'm 64yrs old and have moved 45 times since my birth in Germany. The home we are currently living, we have purchased and look forward to our next move being heaven.

Pretty much never. I was born in Vancouver, BC while my parents were there for about 3 years and then they moved home to Alberta to farm on my grandpa's farm and I lived there my whole growing up years.

When I graduated from high school, I moved into the little city (not even sure it was a city at that time) we live closest to for a winter and when Roger and I got married the following summer (1976), we moved a mobile home onto this property and have been here ever since. We built our house in 1983 so had to move across the yard, from trailer into the house. Been in here for 39 years.

I dunno ... I always wanted to live somewhere else, or even several somewheres, just for the experience, but Rog had a really good paying job in the oilpatch that we could do life on one salary, not extravagant, by any means, but we did it and he never had any hankering to live anywhere else. So our roots are here and solidly planted. If anyone had told me, when I graduated high school that I'd be turning 65 in the same small town area I grew up in, I would have told them they were crazy. But here I am!

5 moves with distance > Ohio, California, NY, Texas, Florida. A few local moves. If I threw in the military time I could add another 15 or so.
