Fish taco friday!!!
Haven't had one of these in a few years. Just found out today they are closing for good next Saturday. There will be one more Friday and they are gone forever. This was the first place I ever had a fish taco. Lucky Dog Diner in Venice Florida.

Bummer. Hate to see food places close, or any small business.

I've never had one, but that looks pretty interesting - Well, except for what looks like Thousand Island dressing (Yuck!)

It's not. Doesn't taste anything like thousand island. Probably mayo and/or sour cream, some adobe sauce, etc. That's what makes it.
I'm not a seafood guy and I love these. First ones I ever had several years ago when I came down here. Just ordered one and loved it so got the other two (they come in orders of 3 if you get a full order).
FB IS a seafood guy and said he didn't think it sounded good. Don't know if he's tried any yet. Like I said, I just like fried fish and fried shrimp, and I love these.

I assume just not doing enough business. They have a gofundme that they started in April and has only raised $245 out of 30k goal. So that's going nowhere.

Ahhh OK, then I'd definitely try it, because I'm a "Seafood Gal"

Next time I get around one I'll give it a go.
