Just got my first shingles shot...PSA
I've talked about in a couple of threads where I got shingles in January on the end of getting Covid due to my immune system being weakened. If you're older the shot is recommended. It comes from the virus from chicken pox lying dormant in your system until some event happens to trigger it, mostly a weak immune system.
Anyway, just a PSA for it if you've never had the vaccine. I don't recommend waiting until you actually get the shingles to get one. You have to wait about 3 months after you get it to be vaccinated, and it is a 2 shot deal. One now and one in about 2-7 months she said. It is very painful.
CDC recommends that healthy adults 50 years and older get two doses of the shingles vaccine called Shingrix (recombinant zoster vaccine), separated by 2 to 6 months, to prevent shingles and the complications from the disease. Your doctor or pharmacist can give you Shingrix as a shot in your upper arm.
when is shingles vaccine recommended - Google Search

The shot is painful?
.
This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that ye henceforth walk not as other Gentiles walk, in the vanity (futility) of their mind, having the understanding darkened...

Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly...
(Psalm 1)

Yep. I'm making a Youtube video right now. It won't get taken down though. Nobody cares about the shingles.
