Our governor suspended the gas tax again due to the hurricane. I think I saw a $2.60+ the other day. Lots of places $2.89.

I filled up for $2.89 this week, thanks (in part) to my Kroger Fuel Points.

    A little cheaper here. $2.89. Or maybe it's $2.98.

I couldn't believe it. I had to drive to Arlington, WA today and ran across a truck stop store complex and filling station.
I had to take a double take. $3.19 a gallon. I quickly drove in and filled up.
What's ironic though, there was a Chevron station down the street charging $3.89 a gallon. And it was empty. Everyone was pumping gas where I was at. There was like 16 pumps at the "Pilot" truck stop.
And how about this. I drove back past the gas station an hour later on my way back to Everett, and their LED reader sign next to the road said, $3.09 a gallon.
They dropped 10 cents off a gallon of gas an hour after I filled up there.
These are unheard of prices in Washington.
I always go to Costco here in Everett. They are charging $3.59 a gallon.
That truck stop gas station is like 50 or 60 miles away from where I live.
Too far to drive to get gas. Even at that discounted price.
So, I guess it's back to Costco for me which is only around 5 or 6 blocks from where I live.

    Cool

I filled up last week at $2.46. As of yesterday, it was $2.35 at Murphy USA (Walmart). I didn't feel like driving to Sam's in Tulsa, which probably would've been a few cents cheaper.
