    Munising Michigan (Pictured Rocks National Shoreline area) is under $5.00/gal - $4.74 was about average.

    This was on Tuesday when I was driving west to my mom's.

    Hi Joy!!! Glad to see you made it back in!!

    And our gas is at a wonderful 1.89.9/L which is still much lower than just about anywhere else in Canada.

    1.90x3.785=$7.19/US Gal.

    thanks for your help, Sharie!!!

    YIKES!!!! Has this effected what you do? I've been whining about $4.69. We made a road trip last weekend and I was thinking that we probably won't be making big trips any time soon. In fact, I think we might take a vacation later this year at an Airbnb on a lake nearby. Checking prices now.

    You're soooo welcome!!!

    It hasn't slowed us down so far but the travel restrictions of needing to be V'd to fly sure has.

    We went to Kelowna BC in May to see my sister, about a 12hr drive west and we're soon going to Winnipeg MB, about an 11hr drive east of us for the first weekend in July... not sure we'll venture much farther...

    I want to go to Vancouver BC on the west coast this summer and thought we'd have to drive, to see family, but they dropped the V-pass for flying about a week ago, so we can fly if we want to now... I really want to go because I believe they aren't done with us yet and are going to slam all kinds of restrictions on us come fall. I truly hope I'm wrong.

    The high gas prices, from what I gather, are to modify our behavior and push us toward electric cars, which is ludicrous in the Canadian climate.

    I've also seen articles about people who have developed engines that run on water... and they somehow end up dead before their inventions can hit the production line.

    The more I read and listen and watch, the more I realize just how controlled and manipulated we've been for decades.

    That's about what we are paying in California.

    It pains me to even drive past a gas station
