Thread: Gas prices in your area

  1. #111
Averaging around $2.59 in Metro Detroit, apparently something called 'Summer gas rules' in Michigan has bumped up the prices.

Paid $1.14 a gallon with my $1.00 Kroger discount. Woo hoo!!! First time we've ever gotten $1 off, which is the max you can get off.

Whoa...I would've brought and filled up all my gas cans at that price too!

Metro Detroit is stuck around $2.49.

Well, we were going to fill up both cars, and I forgot and didn't think about it until I started pumping.

Aww man, how could you forget?!?

Do you have a big vehicle? How many gallons did you get cause I just checked and there is a limit of 35 gallons if that makes you feel any better.

Yeah, I knew there was a limit. I only put in 15 out of a max 17.5 or 18 gallons in our '12 Honda Accord. Plenty left for the '96 Camry.

Mrs fuego had to go to work today, and the tank was borderline whether she could make it to work and back or not. So I went to get gas and totally forgot

I'm just happy it's still under $3 - I also usually get 20 cents per gallon off with my Kroger points.
