Sorry, but seriously, how much time does it take to measure flour, sugar, salt and baking powder - and maybe cocoa if it's a chocolate cake?

Is that like baking a poison ivy cake er somethin?
Seriously, the downside of buying commercially produced stuff is... chemicals!
Unless... some company has come up with an organic cake mix. Now that would be worth looking in to.
Do they have such a thing? Surely they do, right?
I might start baking in my microwave if I can find me an organic cake mix

Microwave ovens destroy the nutrition in your food. NEVER use a microwave to cook. Or even to reheat.

I just got thru cookin my Post Toasties in the microwave.... I like to heat 'em up before I pour the cold mile on them.
Nah, just kidding. I rarely use the thing, but my wife does.... should I get a larger life insurance policy?
Seems like microwaves would put radiation in your food or something, but I've never heard of any studies saying it does. If it did, I'm sure lawyers would be advertising on late night TV about it.

Not radiation, but if you do the research, it destroys the nutrients. Some countries have banned them. Not North America, tho.

I heard heat in general destroys nutrients which is why some health food is cold pressed and is not cooked at all.

I know...but sometimes you just want simple. Its still quicker and easier to rip open a box than find the ingredients, check the recipe, measure the stuff, etc.
