Ordering your groceries online
Have you ever done it...did they do a good job for you?
My local Kroger greatly enlarged their store last year and started their online ClickList service at that location. The first 3 times are free and then they would charge you $4.95.
Since that store is now so massive and I usually can't find everything I'm looking for I figured I would finally give it a try. My order will be ready later tonight and we'll see what happens.

Other than eating out, I don't get out a lot. I actually sort of enjoy doing the trip to Wally's. I don't care for clothes shopping at all though.

I don't mind short in and out trips to smaller stores but I'm not one to wander around a mall or huge store for hours. As I said I was really disappointed when they turned my Kroger into such a massive store but I have to say that this ClickList thing turned out pretty good.
You pick a time slot and they had my order ready in a few hours. You never even have to get out of the car, they wheel it out to you and pack it all in your vehicle. You can choose if you want to allow substitutions if they're out of an item and they will upgrade for a similar item at no extra cost. All in all I really liked it!

Curious here... do you let them pick out things like meats and produce?

This was only my first time and there were no meats with this order tho I suppose I'd be OK with some things like hamburger. I did have 3 produce items...potatoes, bananas and a personal watermelon and they did fine with those. There's even an option where you can specify certain instructions, for example I asked for 2 small bananas.
I wouldn't use this service for a small order or for something special but for larger generic orders its wonderful.
...and Fuego, did you get a coupon in the mail for a bonus 200 fuel points on your next order? I did and used it yesterday. :)

I'm glad it worked out for you, Krys...
However, even though I don't enjoy grocery shopping, I prefer to touch, smell and compare prices in the store - Especially when it comes to meat and produce.
With that said, I think it's a great option for people who have limited mobility.

Some Walmarts have been doing this for a couple of years...you can order them and pick them up when a shopper has them ready..or order them online to be delivered...we tried this ONCE and the pkg was damaged...but ordering to pick up would be a time saver as long as they pick good produce...as Krystian said, some meats like HB are so fat specific that you can trust what you get.....my Walmart is pretty consistent in the meats I typically buy but I like to go early and catch their mark downs and stock my freezer....but the rest of the month it's just basics I run out of like milk or fresh vegies...may try this...

I'll have to ask mrs. fuego, but she hasn't said anything about it.
