Arby's new venison sandwiches
-Fast-food chain Arby’s will begin testing venison sandwiches in select markets by the end of the month, the company announced Tuesday.
Arby's venison sandwich features a thick-cut venison steak and crispy onions with a berry sauce on a toasted roll, according to the company.
The venison sandwich is "100% deer meat," with premium cut top and bottom round steaks from the hind quarter of the deer, according to Rob Lynch, Arby’s Brand President & Chief Marketing Officer.
Lynch said the company released the sandwich as part of “It’s Meats Season” campaign, which celebrates the start of hunting season...

I would imagine if it was processed in a USDA approved facility it would be fine.

You can get all kinds of wild animal meats at some places. Not sure why deer wouldn't be on the list too.

At least they're not calling it a Bambi Burger.

While I've eaten venison before, I think I'll pass on this.

When I was little, my Grandmother fried up some venison, and I absolutely loved it. I asked what it was, and my Grandmother told me it was venison...I asked, what that was, to which my brother promptly jumped in with, "Bambi." I think I put my fork down for about 2 seconds, then decided it was too good NOT to eat!
