Thread: ALERT! KROGER 4x FUEL POINTS FOR GIFT CARDS...

Any time they have this, what we do is buy gift cards to places that we already eat. It is from July 27 to Aug 8th. Today we bought 2 $25 Texas Roadhouse cards, and 2 $25 O'Charlie's cards. 4 x $100 is 4 times 100 fuel points or .40 cents off per gallon on our gas (.10 cents off a gallon for every $100 spent). That combined with the already double fuel points promotion already going on for buying groceries on Friday, Saturday, or Sunday (which ended today), comes to .60 cents off a gallon the next time we buy gas (our bill was $242 but $100 of that was the gift cards. So 2x fuel points for the remaining $242 is another 20 cents off). So a total of 680 points just for today.

I try to buy mine on double points and have bought a few at 4x. Good deal. Does that also apply to the purchase of Kroger cards? If it does, we could buy Kroger gift cards at 4X and then buy groceries on the weekend and get 2 X the points. Let me know if you have tried the purchase of Kroger cards.

I wouldn't think you would be able to, but I don't really know.

I've thought about doing that, maybe with the bonus quadruple points I will this time.

I was at Kroger today and ask the cashier about buying Kroger gift card and she said No it doesn't apply for 4 times the points on Kroger gift cards as it would be double dipping. So I guess it is gift cards EXCEPT Kroger gift cards.
