I've seen apple pie served with a slice of cheese on top but that was before cheese sauce was used so much. Think 1950's. Back then, we only used cheese sauce for rotel dip, made with Velveeta, or at the Mexican restaurant.

I don't think I've ever seen apple pie with cheese sauce. Normally it's either a slice of American or cheddar.

Had my country side yesterday. Tomato and onion sandwich. Onion was too strong at the end, but was what this big old boy wanted! It was guuuuuuud!!!

Mum used to make us tomato and onion sandwiches. I had to stop having them once I married.
