    The stores have been having too many tempting turkey sales so I caved a cooked a pre-Thanksgiving feast. I dry brined a turkey breast and made some mashed potatoes, gravy, corn, kapusta, stove top stuffing and biscuits to go with it.

    Made an apple pie already and have some Angus carne picada slow cooking for hoagies later today.

    On a side note I hadn't heard of carne picada before I picked up the package to look at it. LOL...thought it was just a roast.
