Had a great Cuban at a small restaurant at the Venice airport. Cubans are one of my favorite sandwiches.

Next time you make fish tacos, substitute Trader Joe's wild caught Venezuelan red shrimp (they are huge with foodies because they taste like lobster; best shrimp you'll ever hope to have!). You'll fall out. When we had that shrimp last 4th of July, all of my friends couldn't get enough. I found out much later that the red shrimp variety are very famous. At TJ's, they have them in the freezer section already deveined and shelled. They are, by far, the best. And they are fantastic in fish tacos.

That's exactly what we did. We grilled them and had all of the taco fixins laid out, and gave people a choice of making a fajita-type soft shell taco, or a hard shell taco. We also had black bean mango salad and other stuff. People tried those shrimp and lost their minds. I talked to one of the TJ's employees about how good they were and we had a good conversation about them. I then found out they are the darlings of foodies everywhere. I just got them because they were wild caught and not farmed, deveined and peeled, and relatively cheap. Matter of fact, I think I'm having some today in a salad.
They are seasonal though, but keep your eye out for them.

Well, just check in the freezer or ask one of the clerks. I've only looked once and not found them. They are amazing though.
