Wow...its been years, maybe decades since I last paid under $1 for a gallon of milk. Our Aldi's had really low milk prices for a while now, I even bought a half gallon of chocolate milk last month because it was only 79 cents, but suddenly Kroger is beating even them on the milk prices.

Orange juice with the original fruit sugar intact was about 95 cents per gallon here a while ago. For whatever reason. About one third the usual price and it didn't last long.

We buy our milk at Braum's Ice Cream and Dairy store. They are a locally owned business with stores all over the state. I don't know if they are any place else. They have their own dairy farm and very good products. I have no idea what milk at WM as I pay no attention. Sometimes it is on sale at Braum's 2 for $5.
I'm sure most milk in the area is $3 or over. Aldi would probably be an exception. I tried to buy milk there once years ago and they were totally out.

Ok I checked at WM. Their store brand of 2% is $3.16.

That's kind of high. That would be what party stores or gas stations around here might charge...grocery stores usually have it for around $2.
