We have a microwave and I mainly use is to slightly defrost meat. Other than that, I warm everything on the stove. I've read quite a bit about how damaging it is to the nutrients in our food, to cook or reheat in a mic.

Yep, when it's running, we lose the wifi signal here, too. They really aren't all that safe, I agree.
We have one, I don't use it for anything. My husband and son use it daily, though. And if I'm online, I just have the understanding that I'll lose the internet connection.

I can't figure out where I live but we have a microwave in each of our homes. I replaced my wife's mother's microwave when I realized it was interfering with the WIFI in the house. That's more than enough radio wave damage than anyone really needs in the kitchen.

True. I warm up my quinoa/lentil mixture on the stove. We do use the toaster oven a lot.

Speaking of toaster ovens, my current one is really getting on my nerves. I use a toaster oven for cooking many things, seldom using the big oven. The current one is a Kitchen Aid and it makes toast so slowly I just about lose interest waiting.
