I bought a pressure cooker to do some canning this past Summer. I would love to know where you get your recipes...I'd like to use it more often!

My mom pressure cooked lots of things and they did come out more tender than the regular way of cooking things. I would occasionally make beef stew or stuffed cabbage in it but its been years since I've used it. Didn't know they made electric ones.

The electric pressure cookers are becoming quite popular. My mom didn't have a pressure cooker so it isn't something I ever thought I needed. I thought about getting the electric one but I don't cook enough to justify having one.

I've been seeing an infomercial now for awhile about a pressure cooker they're selling now. I really want one. I could watch that commercial over and over...and have.
As good as the crockpot but faster. What's not to like? :)

Is this it? If so, its nothing like the old fashioned pressure cooker that my mom used to use. I think I want one too. :)
The reviews on it are pretty good too:

I mainly use my pressure cooker for stew. It takes about an hour or less to make the stew meat tender and falling apart. Other than that, I don't use it for much of anything. Got it for a wedding gift, forty years ago. Cast aluminum, with rubber seals and a rocker thingy on top to regulate the pressure. The electric one looks pretty darn good compared to that.
