Well, I don't mind bitter, especially greens. But radishes....they are worse than bitter.

I only love fresh tomatoes. But really, only when they're in season. Romans....don't you love you some Hanover tomatoes?! So sweet and sooo good.

I do like cherry tomatoes too as they are sweet. In the summer, making a grilled cheese sandwich, but put some fresh sliced tomatoes on there too.......yum.
    Yeah, LOVE mushrooms.

Sometimes I'll just pop cherry tomatoes like they were grapes.

Some years back I looked for a dairy free cream of mushroom soup and found one that you would never know was dairy free. A lot of people don't know that vegans use cashews to add creaminess to recipes. The first time I made the soup, I was shocked at how good and creamy it was. This past thanksgiving, I made it and took it to my friends' house as a mushroom gravy and everyone raved about it. My friend told me at church she couldn't believe it was dairy free but it had that meaty mushroom goodness. Simplest thing in the world to make, too.

Eating mushrooms is like chewing on an eraser. Tastes about the same, too.

I LOVVVE radishes and celery can be really nice when it's not bitter.

And fresh tomatoes just can't make it past my lips. Don't really even care for the smell of them.

I have a friend that doesn't like tomatoes in any form. No spaghetti sauce, pizza sauce, raw, cooked, etc.

Eating radishes and raw celery is like eating the sulfur smell after you light a match, only the sulfur from the match would taste better, if one could eat it.

When I'm out and about, I'll just use salt, but at home, I use a paring knife and make a hole in the top of the radish and fill it with vinegar and a sprinkle of salt. If it's a really big radish, I'll cut it in half and do that with each half.

Which reminds me, I have a bag of radishes in the frig I should go clean to have ready for supper.
