Or eating any meat, if I'm eating it with rice or potatoes or whatever, take a bite of meat and then the other and like to chew it up together. Or say meatloaf, mashed potatoes, corn bread, I take a bite of each and eat it all together. I do all my food that way. I know some people that eat each food on the plate one at a time. Not me.
odd...very, very odd.

I know someone who won't eat unless their foods are totally separated on their plate as in their potatoes cannot be touching the corn which cannot be touching the meat, etc.

My food can touch, but I definitely don't eat them mixed up. I like each flavour and texture on it's own. I can't stand when there's something crunchy in something that shouldn't be crunchy. That's one of my pet peeves about onions. I like the flavour, but throwing that texture in everything. Bleccchhhh. I use onion powder in my cooking.

That's why you sauté the onions first, so they're soft!

Nope. There's still a texture I can't stand. Used to actually make me gag. I've learned to just kinda sort with my tongue and swallow them without chewing them. It can be tough sometimes - and that's the cooked onions. Raw still make me gag. I hate picking out onions when I'm at someones house for a meal, but it's better than gagging.

Speaking of gagging, while I enjoy maple flavor and honey on different things I cannot eat those flavorings on meats such as ham, it has literally nauseated me.

My husband eats a sandwich that sounds something like what some of you are talking about with a slight variation. He calls it a banana mush sandwich. It consists of peanut butter, honey, banana, and miracle whip... all of it is mashed up into something that looks disgusting... then spread on bread. He loves it, me not so much! But then I love parmesan cheese on my popcorn and he thinks that's disgusting!

Anything with Miracle Whip is disgusting.
The parmesan popcorn sounds good.
Hey Sandy!
