    I love bread of all kinds. I've never heard of "scooping", but I often tear off some of the excess bun from a hamburger. My mom did it for portion control. I don't enjoy biting into a burger and getting a mouth full of bun but no meat. If I'm not too full when I get done with the burger I may spread some butter on the leftover bun or dip it in one of the condiments and eat it.
