Rice Krispies = Because I totally loved the "Snap, Crackle and Pop" sounds
Frosted Flakes = Because it was delicious with banana slices and it was coated in sugar (Duh!)

Not if you dumped sugar all over it, and then scooped up the excess sugar with the last of the milk.

I liked Cap'n Crunch and Cocoa Puffs. Or as Calvin an Hobbes puts it:

I really loved a lot of cereals as a kid. I loved Coco Puffs, Rice Krispies (for the reasons Lista gave...dump sugar all over it), Cap'n Crunch with Crunchberries, and as a teen I loved Honey Bunches of Oats.
I liked Frosted Shredded Wheat but didn't love it like I loved the sugary stuff. I liked Lucky Charms but didn't love it.
A second question....which cereal did you love to eat dry? I loved to eat Coco Puffs dry, as well as Frosted Shredded Wheat, which was great as a snack. I liked Cap'n Crunch dry too.

Corn flakes, puffed wheat and puffed rice. None of it had any sugar in it but all of it sent me on a sugar high because of the high glycemic carbohydrates (comparable to plain sugar). So it felt very good eating it but not so good a while after. My mom called it "empty calories" and she didn't really have an explanation for why it was, but she was right.

Good question because there were cereals I didn't like in milk but enjoyed munching dry. Frosted Mini Wheats, Cheerios and Chex were the best.
Actually there are a lot of popular party mixes that use Chex as the main ingredient. I just started a thread about them here:
