I haven't had an opportunity to try
    Haggis
    Tripe
    Truffles
    Crickets
    Pigs Ears
    Chicken Feet
    Frog Legs
    Razor Clams
    Blood Sausage

I will admit that my taste of rattlesnake was when I was a teenager... and it was just a taste. I don't really remember much after that.

Spam?! That ain't adventurous. That's a staple in Hawaii. And I love it. Well, a lot of those are staples for people really. Crab, oysters, adventurous?

I've had gator, squirrel, raccoon, porcupine, venison (deer, elk, bison) but that is not adventurous.

Eel is not that adventurous either.

    Live eel is.

Scott had to eat live eel in China. It's a sign of disrespect if you don't eat what your host offers you. He sent me an email after that experience that said "I feel sick from my toes up." I can't even imagine!

When I was coming up, we had to eat what was placed before us, or go to bed hungry.

I get that entirely. My dad was an avid fisher and brought home many trout and salmon through my childhood years. Oh and the mysterious appearance of deer in the freezer during offseason. He did what he had to do.

I know! Sauerkraut sounds perfectly normal to me.

Okay, that sounds like something straight out of Granny's Kitchen on The Beverly Hillbillies!
