I don't know why, but I can eat a beef steak rare, but the thought of eating a venison steak the same way scares me to death. I don't know why I think wild animals might have more e coli bacteria (or whatever else that might make me sick) than a farm raised one....

It all comes down to how the meat is handled from field to fare. I do the entire job, right to the cooking and eating. Germs dont have a chance to grow if you dress it properly, hose the internals out and hang it in cold weather. For years I over cooked the steaks until my daughter fried some backstraps for me. Oh my. Cooked in sweet onions, lemon, put Creole seasoning on it and grab the A-1 Sauce. Sooooo tender!

Ok, I indulged at Taco Bell after a transport. I had one of their steak quesarito thingy's. Wow. Not good for the weight loss schedule but hey...

About the only fast food I've had in several months is Chick Fil A nuggets, and that hasn't been but at most a couple of times.
