    Too bad it didn't turn out as good as you hoped. That's always so disappointing.

    here ya go...I just added chocolate chips to mine, and didn't do 2 sticks of butter.

    I never tried the monkey bread recipes that use the refrigerated biscuits but I have done this one that uses crescent rolls and mini chocolate chips and it turned out great...quick, easy and very satisfying:

    I'm ready to roll out my shortbread. It's my MIL's recipe called Scotch Bread and it's made with brown sugar for a very rich, melt in your mouth flavour.
