"the Antichrist" teaching is a fable

NOWHERE in the prophetic scriptures will you find the beast or man of lawlessness referred to as "the Antichrist". You won't find the term in Daniel, Revelation, 2nd Thessalonians 2, nor any other place.

It's because the man of lawlessness or "man of sin" "son of perdition", as Paul called him, is NOT one individual man, but is instead a [U] PEOPLE[/U). More precisely, they're the people who descended from Cain. And they are symbolized as "the ten horns" in Daniel and in Revelation. And they're symbolized even more precisely as the ten horns upon Babylon the great, in Rev. 17:16.

Anybody here want to discuss this very important topic?

    Thanks, Cardinal.

I've already made the case that the term "Antichrist" is never once applied to the man of lawlessness, in Daniel or Revelation or 2nd Thess. 2. So, that's something for you to think about for now.
Then later, if I have the time, I'll list the prophecies in Daniel which applies to the man of lawlessness, and will give, what I believe to be, the correct interpretation of them.

"Who is the liar? It is the man who denies that Jesus is the Christ. Such a man is the antichrist – he denies the Father and the Son" (1 John 2:22, New International Version).

1 John 2:18 - Little children, it is the last hour; and as you have heard that the Antichrist is coming, even now many antichrists have come, by which we know that it is the last hour.

This implies that there is a specific antichrist to arrive but in the meantime there will be minor antichrists manifesting

Those verses about antichrists in 1st and 2nd John have no correlation to the man of lawlessness. Non whatsoever.

I don't belong to any Church, Cadinal, nor do I follow any preacher or prophecy teacher. I'm just a fellow Christian believer who's been studying (on my own) the end-time scriptures over the past forty some odd years.

Don't get me wrong. I'm not knocking any particular denomination nor any one particular prophecy teacher. I just simply believe that, when it comes to the end-time scriptures, they're all wrong because they all interpret those scriptures basically the same way.

This kind of stuff is way out of my caliber of knowledge about. But the Cain thing. But the flood survivors were Noah's family, Noah & his wife, his 3 sons & their wives. That counts up to 8 that the human race generated from. I know God marked Cain, I've read somewhere that as to him becoming a black man. I can't remember in the New Testament book where it tells the number of people that was on the ark. But it was just Noah's family. But I'll just read along. Interesting.
