The Moose was designated the Alaska state land mammal in 1998. My impression is that the Russians find Alaska less interesting than they find the Arctic. Disputes in the Arctic have typically involved arguing about which areas of the sea bottom should be exploited by whom. Those are less well defined as belonging to one particular country. The Russians have for decades tried to gain control over oil rich areas of the sea bottom in the sea north of Norway, it seems that there will be more of a collaboration about those now. There are also other resources that they know of or speculate that exist up there, including on a ridge going over the North Pole. These are the things that they fight over that don't easily turn into a nuclear war because someone tried to occupy someone else's land area.

In terms of the symbolism of your dream, if Alaska is the Moose, wouldn't that mean that Russia would be eating out the heart of Alaska (wherever that is) and then the rest of Alaska would be left unscathed, with the rest of the US being situated thousands of miles away and out of harms way ? It should also mean that your dream involves the church in Alaska and not the church in the US as such.

TT....the bear is representative of Persia (Iran) in Daniel's visions. Considering what is going on in this country do you think it possible Muslims could be what the bear represents (going after America's heart) or is there a particular reason that you see Russia as the bear?

I also believe that America will have a terrible death. Revelation 18 speaks of it.

And as far as "Why would God give you the dream..." because I for one will listen to and consider the dreams and prophesy of one who loves the Lord and is not in the public eye far more than one who is.

I don't think any other nation has the ability to hurt America like Russia but what you write is certainly worth pondering...maybe Islam will work with Russia

I think Iran makes a lot more sense than Russia given your dream. The former Iranian president bragged about his ability to send 10,000 suicide bombers to infiltrate America if they crossed him sufficiently. Iran secretly being behind dirty bombs or actual nuclear bombs going off in several key cities in the US is a much more likely scenario than a limited nuclear war involving Russia. If the nuclear deal backfires then that isn't particularly unlikely.

If we are talking about the near future as in no more than several decades, that is. If we are talking about a more distant future then anything is possible. The symbolism still has to make sense in the here and now, there isn't much point in using symbols that will only make sense for instance 300 years from now (all the Moose suddenly migrated to the Mid West because of the new ice age or whatever).

In relation to dreaming about a moose I can only report what I saw.

As I previously said I was concerned because I thought the moose represented myself and was thinking that I am facing a big attack that needs prayer

I did not think of America

It was only after I asked God .....which in hindsight I should of asked straightaway. The thought came quite clearly....it wasn't a voice but a clear thought...America has bears and moose. As I pondered the interpretation seemed to flow naturally

One could argue that a moose isn't the best symbolism for America and they probably have a point
I also looked it up and it is the state animal for Alaska


BTW Lately I have been putting my focus on seeking Jesus for my life and future.
So it was strange for this to happen when I am focusing on Jesus and some decisions I need to make

The moose and bear are factions within America and the American church is or will be guilty of letting one deal the other a fatal or nearly fatal blow ?
