But that's just it. If you picked up a bible and started reading it without ever hearing the Pre-Trib Rapture THEORY, you would never come up with it. The scripture does not say that the church will be raptured before the great tribulation. Not a single scripture.
It takes a hodgepodge of scriptures taken out of context to build this doctrine. Scriptural acrobatics. A simple reading of the passages in context would never ever bring you to a conclusion that says the church will be raptured before the great tribulation.
We may never agree on this until the day we are raptured up to be with Jesus. It doesn't matter though, I still love you with a brotherly love.
I just believe that this doctrine has lulled the church to sleep and believers today have been taught that they won't have to go through anything as horrendous as what the early church did. (No scripture says that the church of today will not go through the same things as the 1st Century church or the church of the Reformation Period/dark ages.)
What will happen to them if they do?
Will they be able to stand bravely without denouncing Jesus and commit their spirit to Him, or will they feel like they have been deceived and give up and denounce their faith?
