Hillsong Church Affirms Full Pro-LGBTQ Position

I'd like some feedback on this please. Not sure about the website. Is Hillsongs really this bad? Is this an heresy hunter website?
    Thanks.

Hillsong Church Affirms Full Pro-LGBTQ Position As They Hold Their One World Religion Alpha Conference Featuring A Roman Catholic Mass

Hillsong Church is a hotbed for heresy–a celebrity-minded prosperity gospel Sunday morning entertainment venue where you can go to have your week's fill of self-adulation with — by any discernible standard — no Biblical teaching or exhortation.

Hillsong Church has millions of followers who have made their Laodicean church corporation wealthy beyond their wildest dreams. Over the past few years, Hillsong has gone from a mildly worldly group that won Grammy awards, to a full-blown snakepit of apostasy and heretical teachings.

"Then the LORD said unto me, The prophets prophesy lies in my name: I sent them not, neither have I commanded them, neither spake unto them: they prophesy unto you a false vision and divination, and a thing of nought, and the deceit of their heart." Jeremiah 14:14 (KJV)

February was quite the month for Hillsong Church. In the space of just two short weeks, they issued a formal statement affirming the LGBTQ, sponsored their ecumenical Alpha conference promoting a One World Religion, and had a priest hold a Roman Catholic mass. People attending this event were told that this false doctrine was "advancing the kingdom". Think about that the next time you plunk down your hard earned dollars downloading their music. Your support of this Laodicean mess makes their "ministry" possible.

"I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot. So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth. Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked: I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see." Revelation 3:15-18 (KJV)

Read the official Hillsong Church statement below on how they "don't preach against any group", something they call the "heartbeat of God". Funny thing, though, when you read the Bible you see God preaching against all sorts of people and against all kinds of groups that have aligned themselves against the revealed word of God.

Hillsong Affirms Their Pro-LGBT Stance In Statement Released Yesterday

FROM REFORMATION CHARLOTTE: In the wake of a recent attack by celebrity Ellen Page against Chris Pratt, an attendee of Hillsong Church, who called Pratt's church "infamously anti-LGBTQ," Hillsong released a statement denying this.

Of course, Hillsong isn't anti-LGBTQ — "we are an inclusive Christian church that loves, values and welcomes all people, regardless of their background, ethnicity, beliefs, values, or personal identity" — says the church who allowed open homosexuals to lead their choir.

Official Hillsong Church Statement On LGBTQ Inclusion:

    Hillsong Church loves ALL people.

We would like to clarify and correct the following misinformation that has appeared in several media outlets recently:

Hillsong Church does not preach against anyone or any group; we are not 'anti-anyone'. We are an inclusive Christian church that loves, values and welcomes all people, regardless of their background, ethnicity, beliefs, values, or personal identity.

We are also a church that adheres to mainstream biblical values shared by the overwhelming majority of evangelical Christian churches around the world, and millions of Christians across the USA. Believing the teachings of the Bible and loving all people – including those who have different perspectives – are not mutually exclusive. In fact this is the very definition of tolerance and inclusiveness.

Hillsong Church was founded in 1983 by our Senior Pastors, Brian and Bobbie Houston and in all those years Pastor Brian has been a vocal opponent of gay conversion therapy and has made it clear to our pastors that we do not support that approach.

At Hillsong we want to be known by who we are for. We are for people finding hope in Jesus, we are for people finding love and acceptance, and we are for helping people in any way we can. Our focus is on pointing people to Jesus as "the way, the truth, and the life". No matter where you are in the world, when you enter our doors, you will be greeted with a sign that says, 'Welcome Home'. That is the heartbeat of Hillsong Church. Indeed, that is the heartbeat of God. source

Hillsong Church Phoenix Conducted a Catholic Mass and Hosted Catholic Priest at Alpha Conference 2019

Most people know Hillsong through their swaths of ear-tickling music that's poured out of their multiple campuses and celebrity bands throughout the world — a money-making machine for sure. Whether it be their sleazy rendition of Silent Night during Christmas, their posing of a nearly naked man on stage at a women's conference, its cover-ups of pedophile pastors, having openly homosexual worship leaders, defending abortion, complaining about the death penalty, or the fact that celebrities love them because they "don't teach that book with Moses and stuff," one thing is for sure, Hillsong is an outright dangerous threat to churches around the world.

This year, the Phoenix campus of Hillsong church hosted the apostate Alpha Conference — an ecumenical, emergent conference that seeks to unify all the various faiths under one umbrella — and it isn't Biblical truth. According to the conference website, the event being hosted at Hillsong is featuring Mike Schmitz is a Catholic priest, author, and speaker in the Diocese of Duluth, MN who is " the author of the Belonging study program and is the primary personality in Ascension Presents, weekly YouTube videos offering Catholic perspectives of cultural and societal issues."

Exploring Alpha in a Catholic Context—Answering the call for the New Evangelization.

If the fact that Roman Catholics partnering with so-called Protestants for "Christian unity" isn't enough, consider that — get this, at a Hillsong Church — they held a Catholic Mass. And most Protestant churches promote Hillsong on Sunday mornings without a second thought.

The amount of apostasy crammed into this short video is astounding. Uniting all religions to create a 'kingdom of God' as 'it is in Heaven'? If you don't know why that statement is completely and totally false, maybe you need to get saved.

I think Hillsong is rubbing shoulders with the entertainment biz. Bad company corrupts...

Did some checking and Alpha Conference which is from England is using Hillsong Phoenix building for the conference and using Hillsong musicians.

There are concerns with Hillsong not being more clear on certain issues but what is written above is twisting and exaggerating.
Brian Houston still believes that heterosexual marriage is scriptural and they don't perform gay weddings.

Something that has been on our recent news is....
Brian recently criticised a well known born again sportsman for publicly declaring sinners go to hell. Brian decided to go to the secular media and write that christians need to be more loving and gracious and shouldn't mention hell.

Imo it was weak of Brian to take advantage of this situation and criticise this brother and sadly it reflects more of his position to want to be seen as normal in the eyes of the world. The concern is they want to keep a certain image as they want to attract numbers. They will argue they want more saved.

Hillsong have decided to take this stance of being seeker sentive and it will be interesting if it stays that way or gets more liberal over time. HS New York pastor was weak when questioned by Oprah a couple of years ago about abortion and came back with an apology after Christians expressed dismay.

There are many wonderful believers who go there but there have been some worrying trends that in major issues they answer with wish washy terms.

Defenders will say they are still orthodox in doctrine but want to attract people with God's goodness

Houston has a problem. The Church wants him to take a stance in holiness. The homosexual community wants him to knuckle under and say everything is peachy and not take that stance.

If one is going to make the wrong stance, you best hope it is on the side of the Bible.

Brian is like so many other ministers. Not mention hell? Even though it's in the Bible and Jesus talked about it unapologetically? So there's nothing to be 'afraid' of? That kind of preaching creates a lot of false converts. What about when you stand before the Lord and have to answer for all the people that thought they were OK because you didn't have a backbone to preach the WHOLE Gospel?

And speaking of Hillsong NY pastor, I just saw this photo the other day of him with Beiber:

I don't care what anybody says, when you're a pastor and dress like that, or even just call yourself a Christian and dress like that, or don't even know the Lord, you are trying to send a signal to the opposite sex. Period. It just blows my mind. As a matter of fact I saw this pic on a YT clip by someone who isn't a Christian, and wasn't a religious video at all (they were talking about Beiber and showed the pic and then he commented on the pastor when he saw the pic), and even the secular host of the podcast was calling him out for that and telling it like it is. I won't say what he called it because I can't print it here, but I think he was right on in what he said.

    It just blows my mind.

I think he may be trying to show off his abdominal muscles because the lines going from the lower obliques and towards his crotch are difficult to produce. It takes a lot of muscularity and little fat. So either he's showing off to the ladies or to other muscle builders, or both. He certainly looks like a small bodybuilder from the waist and up, especially for his age.

In his defense, his pants probably fell down a bit from where he tied them by the time of that photo.
