    Need Confirmation

I viewed a video today by a lady named Patricia Green. I've never heard of her before.
Most youtube prophetic videos I watch I delete rather quickly.
I viewed the entire 14 minutes of this one.

    Contents:

Our nation has 3 major transgressions recorded in our books of law.

    1. Removal of prayer and Bibles from our education system.
    2. Abortion/murder in the womb.
    3. Same sex marriage.

The past two recent hurricanes were a result of God's judgment.

The solar eclipse over the U.S. was a warning of darkness to come.

God is giving us (America) 7 more years to repent. Donald Trump will be at the helm during these 7 years unless something happens to him then the 7 years will be cut short.

God's full fury is being restrained so we have the opportunity to repent in these next 7 years.

If we do not repent as a nation, the Lord is going to send a great earthquake.

If we still refuse to repent, the Lord is going to send a tsunami.

If we still don't repent, the Lord is going to send us into captivity.

The title of this video is called "The Amos Judgment".

2 Cor 13:1 says, "By the mouth of two or three witnesses every word shall be established".

If a couple of you can spare 14 minutes to view what is being said here I would appreciate it. I need conformation that this is a genuine word from the Lord or not.
Should I accept it or reject it? As of now, I am receiving this word, but need some help with some conformation. Thank You! Mike

Not wanting to offend but, speaking for myself, I did not sense even an iota of genuine prophetic anointing. None. At all. Zero.

    .
This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that ye henceforth walk not as other Gentiles walk, in the vanity (futility) of their mind, having the understanding darkened...
    (Ephesians 4:17-18)

Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly...
    (Psalm 1)

Not offended at all. That's why I'm asking for help. I will weigh a final decision to reject or accept regardless of my initial response to what she was saying. Thanks so much!

I haven't watched the video but the outline is a standard Old Testament way of viewing the world. It probably sounds pleasing to people who want things to go bad, for "those sinners to get what is their due".

Prophetic ministry, like all ministry must be in accordance with:

    Ephesians 4:11-12 And He gave some as apostles, and some as prophets, and some as evangelists, and some as pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of service, to the building up of the body of Christ;

The prophecy fails at that test. I think she is issuing a warning to the world, not the saints.

    and (actually the first test)

The Testimony of Jesus is the Spirit of Prophecy.

Is Christ speaking through the prophet? Come unto me all who ..? Repent and ye shall be saved?

Jesus didn't speak to nations a did the prophets of old, He spoke to hearts. A different, new dispensation, testament (testimony).

The funny ones out there are always like "judgment will fall upon Utah, if they don't repent", or the "the spirit of so and so is over Oregon".

aah, no, you can safely reject all of that.

    >> The past two recent hurricanes were a result of God's judgment.

This is more about the heart of the prophet, how they perceive Jesus Christ, not about Jesus Christ. Until that rider on the white horse shows up we are not under judgment, and believe you me when that event occurs, it won't be tiddly wink hurricanes.

Thank you all for your comments. Another opinion helps immensely.
I read the book of Amos and what was prophesied was aimed at Israel of old.
So how could Amos be another reflection, or a warning aimed at America?
I have decided to discard these prophetic words presented in the video.
Thanks again for your participation in helping me reach this conclusion. MIKE

You are wise brother to consider these things, to be open to the prophetic.

A true prophet is appointed by God. A false prophet is appointed by themselves and not by God. I believe the test of a prophet, whether he is true or false, doesn't necessarily count on whether his predictions come true, for even the predictions of a false prophet could come true. The test is rather if the prophet is leading people in the ways of God. Nevertheless, if a prophet made a bold assertion that his prediction would come true and it did not, than the person would be labeled a false prophet.

If a prophet truly has a message from God, their main concern is not with the foretelling of an event(s), but with leading people to repentance and obedience. God is concerned about the present situation/circumstances in an individuals life, as well as with a nation, because He controls the future. If a prophet has correctly heard from God, and urges the people or person to turn from their sins and obey God, he may therefore have spoken of events that would follow the people's obedience or disobedience. This seems to be what Miss Green was implying in the video. This is why I agreed somewhat with what she was saying. Regardless of what was said in the video, a prediction of blessing may not come to pass because of the people/person's disobedience. Likewise, a prediction of punishment may not have been fulfilled, because the people repented.

The 5 fold ministry (Eph 4:11) which includes prophets, are the Lord's provision for the church, to ensure that it is built and remains on a proper foundation and in accordance with God's plan. The NT prophet should not be overly concerned with adherence to foretelling future events, but must understand the importance in giving a message revealing God's will concerning people and events, and adhering to special instruction in particular situations. A prophets message shouldn't be overbalanced with doom and gloom, but one of encouragement, and building up God's people as the message is brought forth in the power of the Spirit.

If NT prophets are closely linked with teachers and, like teachers, will encourage and strengthen their hearers through expounding the Scriptures. With the increase of false prophets riding the platform in which we see today, it is with utmost importance to be able to discern the difference between the true and the false. Many false prophets operate from a spirit of greed (love of money) and say all sorts of things that sound good to the hearers that tickle the ears that is not a message from God whatsoever. Is the message in the video false? Is Miss green a false prophet? I honestly don't know. But I will use caution with what she is saying because of what I've heard from you. I will sit back and take a spectators view as to what she said, and watch as world conditions unfold if indeed these are the last days, and quite frankly, I believe they are.
