Yes you are right ....I suppose my thoughts are if it is a wrong teaching giving Christians a false security should it not be exposed.
Will many western believers have their faith crumble if great tribulation occurs and they were expecting a rapture.

There are some parallels when Hitler arose in Germany and some believers were expecting God to rescue them

Yes, the Bible teaches a pre-tribulation Rapture. Believers in right fellowship with God wont suffer the tribulation. It's so obvious I'm surprised so many believers don't see it in the scriptures. :head scratch:
When your praise match your prayers, the answer will come.

It's quite possible that great tribulation will again come to Western Christians without it having anything to do with the Great Tribulation.

I don't see it. But having said that, I don't see the other either. The subject of the rapture is just something I've never been able to come to a definitive view on. I see all the points from every side, but nothing has ever settled in my spirit on it or got a heavy rev on it.

I choose to be anticipate His coming....and to simultaneously be watching and listening for revelation ...often scripture has been misunderstood and those who remain open can grasp the correction...that was true when Jesus came the first time...preconceived ideas were present...but some were open to Jesus while other's theology prevented them from seeing the unveiling...

I believe in the rapture but not a pre trib

I rarely share this dream but maybe now is a good time

I had a dream about the rapture in 1991. It was during the first war between America/Allies v Iraq after Saddam Hussein invaded Kuwait and president George Bush Senior declared war
Many christians were saying this is the beginning of the end and the rapture could occur at any moment

I was pondering all these things and wondering if the end would occur when one night I had this dream where Jesus appeared to me and showed me clearly it was not the end
One thing the Lord showed me was 'the rapture was based on human interpretation'

In this dream I saw Jesus and he was MASSIVE and he covered the sky and you could not miss him

Since then I have been at peace about the end of the age knowing that God has the timing in his hand and he will actually reveal things according to his plan
