The key is to LISTEN to the Holy Spirit's leading, and OBEY. I'm so excited about the church I'm at now because it's literally a brand spankin' new church and has the potential to GROW..the leadership is open to the moving of the Spirit and are mature enough to properly lead, equip the saints and release them into ministry in whatever mission field they are led.

The Lord is keeping us where we've been since 1991. Our pastor has survived his first year, the congregation is growing again, we've brought on some part time staff to help and support him... we'er moving forward after that crazy guy we hired two years age who exploded our church.

A church that is overbalanced in teaching is out-of-balanced. There must be an emphasis on the five fold ministry.

I've seen God move in small churches, large churches; churches with pastors, churches (like ours) with no pastor; denominational churches, non-denominational churches....He moves in all kinds of churches. There are benefits both to small and large churches.
