In a case like that there is most likely a far deeper underlying iniquity than lust..one that has taken root and grown over time...

So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed.

I'm still dumb founded every time I see people supporting ministry like that. I suppose they have a larger revelation of grace than I do.

Sorry Quest, I should have offered scripture..
Qualifications for Overseers
3 The saying is trustworthy: If anyone aspires to the office of overseer, he desires a noble task. 2 Therefore an overseer[a] must be above reproach, the husband of one wife,[b] sober-minded, self-controlled, respectable, hospitable, able to teach, 3 not a drunkard, not violent but gentle, not quarrelsome, not a lover of money. 4 He must manage his own household well, with all dignity keeping his children submissive, 5 for if someone does not know how to manage his own household, how will he care for God's church? 6 He must not be a recent convert, or he may become puffed up with conceit and fall into the condemnation of the devil. 7 Moreover, he must be well thought of by outsiders, so that he may not fall into disgrace, into a snare of the devil.
Can you see it now?

It is hard to see the Truth when it conflicts with you own views which are usually mixed with personal feelings. Most people worship their own views above scriptures. That is because their personal opinions are their gods.

I just want to interject something here about divorce and remarriage, some have preconceived and erroneous opinions about what the bible actually does state about divorce. I'm not going create a discussion about it but remarrying after a divorce is not a sin.
This is an excellent site that goes into detail biblically about many aspects of marriage and divorce:

Son only people who have never gotten drunk, never been quarrelsome, never placed their faith in money, never had their household get 'out of order' (no straying kids or cheating spouses) Can function as an overseer?
I don't think that is what it's saying. I believe it's saying people who are LIVING that way can't be..not people who experienced that and overcame..
