Maybe when a minister is getting restored with mercy they also need some of Nikos fiery warnings so the fear of God becomes part of their future Christian walk

One minister was restored after committing adultery with over 10 women. Surely this guy should never pastor again yet he is. So I shake my head .....mercy shouldn't equate to foolishness

There are some wonderful pastors who had to resign the ministry due to physical ill health with no stigma of sin but because they could no longer do the job....in their case the calling was stopped for health reasons yet many carnal, spiritually unhealthy pastors still continue in the ministry

Many Churches would prefer a gifted ungodly pastor who can do all the work to a godly pastor with health issues who can only work part time

There have been pastors who were restored and for a season looked ok but then they fell again and some were even restored and fell the third time.
When does the church finally say enough as it's no longer 1 family broken but now a number of families wounded due to continuing adultery.

Some believers will say if he repented then he is cleansed and forgiven so why should he not preach again even though he has now sinned with 3 different women and Gods call is without repentance.
I know one pastor who makes me upset when I think of the damage he has done but of course he is all forgiven now but who picks up the pieces of the mess and disgrace against Gods name.

So I can't not help feel some of Nikos fiery comments are justified ....certainly against serial adultery
At some point mercy turns into gullibility and some people are very good at exploiting gullibility. A serial-repenting serial-adulterer over time should perhaps be told at some point that "okay maybe your repentance is genuine but I don't trust you in the continuation".

His mercies are new every day, His grace is sufficient for you, God is indeed perfect love.

Of course men can pervert that grace.

Jude 1:4 For certain individuals whose condemnation was written about long ago have secretly slipped in among you. They are ungodly people, who pervert the grace of our God into a license for immorality and deny Jesus Christ our only Sovereign and Lord.
Some here want to point fingers and judge others who believe that God has instructed us in how not to pervert His perfect grace. The notion that He gave us guidelines and limitations because He is full of grace is lost on them.

One would suspect that a ten time serial adultering pastor is really doing that and just pretending otherwise, yes.

I kinda scratch my head over the fact that there are actually sheep who would enter that pig pen. But they do.

Of THAT I totally agree...The Bible gives a serious warning regarding continuing in sin...so the repetition of a sin AFTER supposed repentance and restoration would indicate a deep rooted iniquity not dealt with.

People some times have a love for and therefore understanding for sin that implies that they don't care that much. Their forgiving attitude sometimes has more to do with that than anything else. As Cardinal TT points out, forgiveness and restoration is only as good as the understanding the people involved have of the severity involved to begin with.

Just in case you are speaking of ME, no...absolutely believe Grace has empowered us to overcome temptation and not pervert grace..and no, His guidelines and limitations are not lost to me either...I just may not be on the same page as to what those ARE..

Nikos, for instance seemed very clear that he would NEVER sit under or allow TB to preach...I don't see that in the scriptures..
