No one held classes giving practice prophetic words. No one held classes teaching people how to heal. The Holy Spirit was their teacher.
Well, that's the problem, right there. People were put on pedestals when they were probably not in the Christ ascension office of prophet. I mean, you're saying that anytime someone prophesied in the service, they automatically were labelled as a "prophet"?

Back in my early days when I went to an AOG Church, we'd have prophetic words or tongues and interpretation of tongues, and I never thought anyone that did any of the prophesying was a prophet. Ever. Once.

There was clearly a lack of teaching.

As for the rest of your post, quite frankly, if you blew it badly and repented, submitted your life, etc...and 8 years later, dismissed every thing in your life, SWEARING you had no character whatsoever, then how would YOU feel? Not so great, I'd reckon.
Actually he claims a prophetic anointing and claims to minister prophetically but you claim he is not a prophet or doesn't declare himself to be one. Who really knows, as I said, there is wiggle room there, one could read that either way (Prophet or not?), clarity is not the job of the hearer but clarity is one mark of the prophetic word.

These extended times in God's presence has released a fresh prophetic and miracle-healing anointing. Todd believes the Body of Christ needs to be strengthened and encouraged. He ministers prophetically, corporately and personally as well as brings forth the word of God with the power and demonstration of the Spirit-God confirming His word with signs and wonders following. God has released an increase of the healing anointing into Todd's life- the blind see, the deaf hear and growths dissolve as Jesus heals every sickness and disease.
    >then how would YOU feel?

Really?? Feelings, emotions are not in play when it comes to ministerial credentials.

Pastors often have an evangelistic anointing that is employed when they call sinners to take up the faith at the end of a sermon. They may or may not have the ministry gift of the evangelist in addition to being pastors. All pastors teach from the Bible and many of them have the ministry gift of the teacher as well but that gift isn't a requirement for operating in the ministry gift of the pastor.

    These things get complicated though.

John, Bentley has ONLY EVER called himself an evangelist. Again, because you are ignorant about the five fold office of prophet, versus someone operating in the gift of prophecy, don't blame everyone else for having clarity about something you are trying to make a big deal over.

You do not sow mercy, and you won't receive it, either.

He is not a prophet and he is not an evangelist. He thinks he is but he has no understanding of the ministry gifts.

You've always been pretty quick with a curse.

And no, not ignorant, I haven't stooped to calling others that even though they may lack understanding. Take your filthy mouth elsewhere. You've disqualified yourself.

Right John, you're just a wittle, misunderstood, Angel, sent here to get us all straight about who the REAL PROPHET is.....Alex Jones.

Do you know what a curse is, John? I read your posts sometimes and just bust out laughing. The irony meter broke on this one. And you don't even see it. But I love it when the real John comes out....the first one to curse any one and any thing, but then get all huffy and crazy if someone gives any pushback whatsoever or states the obvious. Keep bringing it John! After all, love and character matters most!

I went back and read some articles about TB and his fiasco in ministry. I read the sad part about his disabled wife who he threw out for a new lover. What a shame and disgrace. Then I listened to him calling on people to seek after some angel instead of Jesus. It seems that to TB Jesus had become boring to people and if they would just call on this Angel they would get revived in the supernatural. What a sham! This man should never walk up on a platform or lead again. It is over.
