"The Great Awakening" is akin to the statement "The Great Tribulation." They are ASSUMED but not stated in the Word.

The Spirit HAS been poured out......in me and you(whoever is reading this that has received Him). What are we waiting for? Him to do what He has already done?

As far as the future of America goes, Revelation 18 sums it up perfectly.

Israel is the chosen land, not the good ol' USA.

Exactly, and that is why satan has certain TV preachers claiming we should not repent and 1 Jon 1:9 is not for Christians.

Funny how some Christians believe TV preachers before the Word of the Living God!

Nuthin wrong with having a little long term food and water storage... which is a good idea anyway in the event of situations that can cause food to not be delivered to the grocery stores. Probably a good idea to keep a few thousand dollars in $20 bills hidden around the house as well.

Just don't get all tin foil hat on everyone and get all freaky deaky like many do.

The dream my son had was more about demonic warfare, so I was more or less thinking about being prepared spiritually in that case. But that said, that dream was a warning dream about me and MY family, not anyone else. That is why I said that people won't be prepared, spiritually, emotionally, or naturally.

But no, people won't be prepared in the natural, either.

Even non-spiritual people like Gerald Celente have been warning about this. So even the world knows better than most Christians.

It is unbelievable to me that people don't understand the difference between someone with a prophetic mantle, and the GIFT of prophecy. Why did Agabus warn Paul he would be bound in Jerusalem, if prophecy is ONLY for for, "edification, exhortation, and comfort". Again....there is massive bad teaching, lack of education, etc......about how prophets function, and how the gift of prophecy operates. That was literally the first thing I was taught in 1988 concerning the prophetic.

But hey....like I said, Krys......I'm not here to have people agree with me or subscribe to my view on the matter. I'm 100% confident in what I believe and know that God is leading me and my family. I am not going to concern myself with the opinions of others. The dreams God has given me were profoundly comforting and impactful, and God speaks and leads me a LOT in dreams, and the same with my son, and to a lesser degree, my husband. I used to teach a biblical dream interpretation class at a spiritual gifts school. I have missed it at times in terms of interpreting my dreams, so I don't claim to be perfect, but I'm 100% certain on what I do know, and God has been warning me for 7-8 years about this season in America. I don't have anything to prove.

    Agabus' prophecy.

Acts 20:22 “And now, compelled by the Spirit, I am going to Jerusalem, not knowing what will happen to me there.
23 I only know that in every city the Holy Spirit warns me that prison and hardships are facing me.
24 However, I consider my life worth nothing to me; my only aim is to finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me—the task of testifying to the good news of God’s grace.

Paul chose to walk down the path God had for him. In every city he received either prophecies or revelations that he would face persecution on account of that but he didn't care because his aim was simply to finish his race.

Agabus prophecies more detail into Paul's situation :

21:10 After we had been there a number of days, a prophet named Agabus came down from Judea.
11 Coming over to us, he took Paul’s belt, tied his own hands and feet with it and said, “The Holy Spirit says, ‘In this way the Jewish leaders in Jerusalem will bind the owner of this belt and will hand him over to the Gentiles.’”

Being handed over to the Gentiles could only mean the Roman authorities. His path with God would therefore lead him to defend the gospel before the Roman authorities in Rome itself and that was where God was leading him. Thus Agabus' prophecy strengthened him in his course towards Jerusalem and in his purpose.

21:12 When we heard this, we and the people there pleaded with Paul not to go up to Jerusalem.
13 Then Paul answered, “Why are you weeping and breaking my heart? I am ready not only to be bound, but also to die in Jerusalem for the name of the Lord Jesus.”
14 When he would not be dissuaded, we gave up and said, “The Lord’s will be done.”

    Prophets vs prophecy :

Acts 15:32 Judas and Silas, who themselves were prophets, said much to encourage and strengthen the believers.

1 Cor 14:3 But the one who prophesies speaks to people for their strengthening, encouraging and comfort.

It's interesting how similar the wording is even though Luke wrote the book of Acts and Paul wrote the letter to the Corinthians. Prophets do of course employ other gifts than prophecy and tongues with interpretation. And their messages isn't an endless string of manifestations of those gifts. But Acts 15:32 tells us something about the general bearing of the ministry of the New Covenant prophet.

    CatchyUN,
I encourage you to ignore those who are against prophets and prophecy and just continue to dialogue with those who are interested and want to share with one another. I know many people in my world that have that same attitude because there have been serious abuses. So I do understand to a point.

But I've seen worship leaders split churches, I've seen Bishops sent to prison for molesting kids, teachers go off into bizarre doctrines, pastors steal money, and on & one it goes. So, what do we do? do away with pastors, teachers, worship leaders etc? We would end up totally doing away with the five fold ministry if we eliminated every office that has failed the church.

Many people I know who went thru these storms never survived. Today they are bitter and don't go to church at all.

Anyways, please carry on. Perhaps I will share some prophecies at a later time concerning this topic
