I was not aware of the recent devastation perpetrated by hurricane Melissa's force upon the Caribbeans. Mass destruction and mayhem was released because of this hurricane disaster.
Homes destroyed, food, water, and power shortages, and disease is spreading. Thousands upon thousands affected.

The West Coast is currently experiencing several seismic activities, with multiple earthquakes being recorded recently under MT. Ranier in the Pacific Northwest. There is seismic activity under the ocean on the Oregon Coast, including a notable event near Coso Junction, CA. There have been 530 earthquakes (minor and small movement) in the past week across the United States, with a significant number occurring on the West Coast.

Could all this activity be associated with Last Day events before Jesus returns?

Yes, another sign of the last days prophetic events. (I know the Bible teaches the "catching away" of the church, it's there in Scripture. It's just the timing, pre, mid, post. It looks like to me the resurrection / rapture occurs in Rev 14:14-16 linking those verses to Matt 13:24-30. The tares and the wheat. At harvest time the two are separated, "but the wheat is gathered into my barn" verse 30.
