What really happened between the prophets and the election

Sooo, again, it's the fact that "The Body of Christ" didn't repent, believe, or pray hard enough that caused Trump to lose the election?
I'm sincerely and humbly not trying to argue or debate or gloat, but I'm really trying to understand why all of the great prophets got it so wrong.

All I know is God allowed it. I prayed for President Trump. I voted for the things outlined in the Bible that pointed to the things that are God's will in such things. I voted Trump nearly straight GOP other than local things. The Governor race I voted for the Independent, because of his stance on guns. What I seen happening I couldn't believe Trump could lose. The court wouldn't see his cases, he couldn't prove his claims for fraud. Why he rallied in DC just freaked my weirdness. He left himself wide open for the "what if's". He really drop the ball there. We go on, cause God allowed it. The only prophecy I see happening is Jesus is gonna call us up and soon.

Even so, Come Lord Jesus, come!

I confess that I do not follow the modern day prophets, however, I do have respect for Jeremiah Johnson who was truthful.

Mario is right in many ways.
As I stated in a sermon several weeks ago, too many people have an unbiblical idea about what a "prophecy" actually is. Many seem to believe that God resides in some "eternal now" and tells the prophet what He is seeing in our future. A study of prophecy will show us that this is not the case. First, most prophecy is a call to repentance and then, second, God states what His future plans are when we do so. In other words, prophecy of future promises is often conditional.
I deal with this, for the most part, in a message I preached a few weeks ago.
Why Prophecy Must Be Accompanied by Prayer

Edited to add: I am NOT defending everyone who prophesied. I am just saying that Mario's blog should not be outright dismissed and we do share some blame.
