Entire Town Defies and Rallies Against Lockdown Orders

On Saturday noon, Mossyrock in Lewis County, Washington, including the mayor, planned to defy the governor's lockdown order.

Several sources say the mayor, the city council officials, and other residents have agreed that every business establishment that has been locked down would be permitted to open. Apparently, even the Lewis County Sheriff would not enforce the lockdown orders.

Events have been facilitated, with speakers and more. Mossyrock has only over 800 residents and has been in the headlines, including other towns in Lewis County for their "revolt" against the Washington States' latest restrictions.

Meanwhile, in Chehalis, about 30 miles away and in Lewis County, things got off-hand at Spiffy's Restaurant located on the south of town. Demonstrators have been gathering in the parking lot of the 50-year-old eatery since Tuesday as a protest to Labor and Industries agents who have attempted to shut down the place for offering indoor dining. The protests have been peaceful even when some are armed, until yesterday afternoon.

A source took footage of a car that sped through the parking lot on Thursday. Authorities are now looking for the owner of the car, which allegedly struck at least one protester. Nobody was severely hurt, yet several sources claim the act appeared intentional.

Lewis County Deputies have since been searching for the vehicle. The protesters said they caught a photo of the car's plat before it sped away.

We are free here in Florida, there are some county mandates that are more or less suggestions because our Governor has said NO to shutdowns, fines, etc.

We have a demoncrat who is hellbent on destroying small business, the American way of life. She is narcissistic and passive-aggressive. She shut down restaurants except for curbside and take-out and we are losing many restaurants for good. Because the restaurant industry on the whole is fighting her, she extended the shut down until January 15. I'm pretty sure that by the time we emerge from this, every small business will be gone. We will be totally reliant on Amazon, WalMart and Target. It churns my stomach to see what she's done to our state. But it also fuels my prayers!

Same here in GA. We are under no restrictions that I know of. And the mayor of Atlanta Keisha Lance Bottoms who battled Gov. Kemp a lot has been surprisingly quiet from what I can tell. They were doing battle at one time over this, her shutting down Atlanta. Haven't seen anything from her through all this lately now that I think about it.

So I Googled her and the only stories I see are she turned down a position in Biden's administration, extended a moratorium on evictions due to covid, and that's it. Kinda weird. Although when the riots started she did come out publicly and on record and dressed down the rioters. So I give her props for that. But weird that I just realized she's been quiet on this after the original shutdown back in April.

We are also experiencing an influx from NY, houses are on the market for 5 minutes. A friend of mine just bought a house and the only way he pulled it off was showing up with a contract offering above the asking price the day it was listed. I know a few others in the market and they get out-bid on everything they like, again putting in offers over asking price.

I was in a pizzeria yesterday and half the people were masked, half weren't, no employees were wearing masks. So, I guess it's personal preference on the mask stuff but the county just south is masks in public places, grocery stores, walmart, etc enforce their own rules but there is no legal penalty.

FL is warm and no state tax. Nice environment for moving. My wife and her sister want to move there to the family condo on Venice beach when they retire. That would still be about another 14 years or so. Hopefully I'm still alive. lol.

Seems all the people from CA are moving to Austin, which at least political wise is like CA. As one said, if you're gonna move to Austin when don't you move a little farther and come to Texas. No state tax there either. Ben Shapiro moved his company to TN.
