You don't actually intervene in these things, you can join the suit, things like that.

Well he should have used a different word for those of us who know what words actually mean. :)

    verb
verb: intervene; 3rd person present: intervenes; past tense: intervened; past participle: intervened; gerund or present participle: intervening

Yeah, I know what "intervene" means. I don't think that's what he actually meant (literally).

The Supreme Court has ordered Pennsylvania, Michigan, Wisconsin, and Georgia respond to the Texas lawsuit on Thursday, December 10. The Supreme Court will then act to hear or dismiss the case.
So we'll know tomorrow one way or the other for good?

No. If Texas prevails, the SC just kicks it back to the state legislatures. Now, the legislatures have already been primed by Rudy team who presented evidence of fraud so they should send a slate of Republican electors to the Electoral College but more than likely they won't act fast enough which will send the whole thing to Congress, 1 state, 1 vote. Trump wins.

That's the plan anyway. We'll see.

    Trump Intervenes

WHEREFORE, Plaintiff in Intervention respectfully request that this Court issue the following relief:
    A. Declare that Defendant States Pennsylvania, Georgia, Michigan, and Wisconsin administered the 2020 presidential election in violation of the
    Electors Clause.

    B. Declare that any Electoral College votes
cast by such Electors appointed in the Defendant
States Pennsylvania, Georgia, Michigan, and Wisconsin are in violation of the Electors Clause and cannot
    be counted.

    C. Enjoin Defendant States and their respective officials from using the constitutionally-infirm 2020 election results for the office of President to
appoint Electors to the Electoral College, unless the
legislatures of Defendant States review the 2020 election results and decide by legislative resolution to use
those results in a manner to be determined by the legislatures that is consistent with the Constitution.

    D. If any of the Defendant States have already appointed Electors to the Electoral College using the 2020 election results, direct that such States'
    18
    legislatures, pursuant to 3 U.S.C. § 2 and U.S. CONST.
art. II, §1, cl. 2, have the authority to appoint a new
set of Electors in a manner that does not violate the
Electors Clause, or to appoint no Electors at all.

    E. Award costs to Plaintiff in Intervention.

    F. Grant such other relief as the Court
    deems just and proper.

No, the U.S. Supreme Court Has Not Agreed to Hear Texas' Lawsuit Challenging Swing State Election Results

First, despite gaining widespread traction among Trump supporters on Twitter and other social media platforms, there is no truth to the notion that the justices already voted 6-3 to hear Texas's case.

Second, the court instructing the states being sued to file a response does not mean the justices will hear arguments on the merits of the action.

"Requiring the states to respond is not an indication that the justices plan on hearing the case. It's an entirely routine move on the part of the Court, one that reflects a simple courtesy that I would have been surprised to see the Court omit," Harvard Law professor emeritus and constitutional scholar Laurence Tribe told Law&Crime.
